One price per device
Every FirewallDNS plan is built on the same unit price: $2.90 per device per month. The plans differ in how many devices they include and which management features come with them, not in the price of protecting each device. That makes the cost easy to understand and easy to forecast. If you know how many devices you want to protect, you know what you will pay.

Starter: for homes and very small offices
Starter covers 5 devices for $14.50 per month. It includes malware and phishing blocking, newly registered domain blocking, 30-day log retention and email support, as listed in the plan comparison above. It suits a household or a small home office that wants strong security filtering without extra management features.
Business: for offices and larger households
Business covers 25 devices for $72.50 per month. In addition to the security filters, the plan as currently shown includes all security and content filters, parental and category controls, custom allowlists and blocklists, priority support and API access. Business is the plan most offices start with because it includes the controls needed to tune filtering for real users. [VERIFY: API access availability]
MSP: for managed service providers
The MSP plan is billed at $2.90 per device per month with unlimited devices and customers. It adds multi-customer management, per-customer invoicing, advanced analytics and dedicated support. Choosing the right plan
Start by counting the devices you want to protect. If you have five or fewer and only need security filtering, Starter is enough. If you need category controls, custom lists or more devices, choose Business. If you manage networks for other organisations and want to invoice them, choose MSP. What every plan includes
All plans use the same filtering infrastructure and the same security protections. Network-level deployment is included: you register your public IP address and point your router, firewall or DHCP server at FirewallDNS, with no software to install on each device. Examples: what common setups cost
A household with a laptop, two phones, a tablet and a smart TV has five devices and fits the Starter plan at $14.50 per month. A small office with twelve staff, each with a laptop and a phone, plus a printer and a network storage box, has twenty-six devices; that is just above the Business plan's 25 devices, so check with us how additional devices are handled. Why there is no free plan
Running a reliable, closed DNS resolver with up-to-date threat intelligence, registry lookups for domain age and searchable logs costs money for every device protected. Charging a small, flat price per device lets us keep the service focused on paying customers, avoid advertising and avoid any temptation to monetise DNS data. It also means everyone gets the same security protections regardless of plan.
